Four former Penn State Brandywine volleyball student-athletes who helped the Lions capture their first-ever conference championship in 2015 were named to the Penn State University Athletic Conference Volleyball All-Decade Team.
A trio of former Penn State Brandywine cross country runners were named to the Penn State University Athletic Conference All-Decade Teams as Brian Abel and John Li were selected to the men's team and Catharine Mooney earned recognition on the women's team.
Penn State Brandywine's all-time leading scorer Nikki Velez was named to the Penn State University Athletic Conference's Women's Basketball All-Decade Team.
As part of Penn State's COVID-19 mitigation plans, COVID-19 tests will be required for all students moving into on-campus residential housing who have not shared with the University that they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or provided a positive COVID-19 test result from the last 90 days prior to arrival.

Due to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 conditions around the country and in Pennsylvania, effective immediately (Aug. 4), Penn State will require all students, faculty, staff and visitors — including those who are vaccinated and unvaccinated — to wear masks indoors at all campuses. Within the last 24 hours, many counties that are home to Penn State campuses have shifted to “orange” status, warranting an immediate adjustment to the University’s on-campus masking requirement.
Pennsylvania is experiencing accelerating COVID-19 case counts across the state, and as of today (Aug. 4), Penn State Brandywine is in an area of substantial (orange) transmission per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) COVID Data Tracker. Effective at 8 a.m. on Aug. 5, masking will be required indoors for all vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals on the Penn State Brandywine campus in Delaware County, in accordance with the latest CDC guidelines.
Jeremy Branch, Penn State Brandywine’s senior assistant director of enrollment management, recently completed a one-year term as president of the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling. Branch is just the second University employee to ever serve as PACAC president and is the first from a Commonwealth Campus.
