Enrollment

Enrollment is the act of being an officially registered student at Penn State. Individuals can apply to enroll at Penn State as degree-seeking or nondegree students, and as full-time or part-time students.  Degree-seeking students must make adequate academic progress to continue as an enrolled student.

Registration

Registration is the process when students enroll in courses for an upcoming semester. The Registration Timetable provides a schedule of when students can begin registering for classes for a specific semester.  Below is information to assist students with their registration. Students are encouraged to consult with their academic adviser before completing any registration activity.

Graduation & Commencement

Penn State awards degrees at the completion of the fall, spring, and summer semesters. The roadmap through the graduation process begins with filing your intent to graduate once eligible and is completed after degrees are conferred and diplomas are distributed.
