On April 11, the Penn State Brandywine Office of Student Affairs hosted its annual Leadership Recognition Dinner, a celebration held every spring to recognize the efforts of dynamic student-leaders on campus.
Penn State Brandywine continued its series of 50th anniversary events with a panel discussion featuring six Penn State alumnae who attended the Brandywine campus between 2006 and 2017.
In keeping with its mission to integrate civic engagement into campus life, Penn State Brandywine’s Civic and Community Engagement Office sponsored its second annual Social Justice Fair this April.
Penn State Brandywine will present a program about the history of the campus property and the adjacent area as part of its 50th anniversary celebration. The event will be held on Monday, May 1, 6-8 p.m. in the historic lecture hall of the Delaware County Institute of Science in Media.
Djuradj Stakic, professor of human development and family studies at Penn State Brandywine, once fled Serbia to escape governmental oppression. Now, he’s returning to Serbia to work on juvenile justice with scholars in Belgrade.
