Penn State Brandywine’s sustainability committee invites students, staff, faculty and the local community to a free showing of “Bag It,” a documentary film exposing the effects of plastic bags and other plastic consumer merchandise on the ecosystem. The film will be shown at 6:30 p.m. on April 18 in Room 101 of the Main Building.
The Office for General Education has announced this year’s seed grants to support the development of Integrative Studies courses. The awarded proposals are representative of a wide range of academic disciplines, and include proposals from faculty at Penn State campuses across the Commonwealth.

This May, Faith Lazarow will graduate from Penn State’s Brandywine campus, earning a four-year degree in business with a focus in finance. Thanks in part to an internship she landed through a Brandywine event, she’ll also graduate with a job.

Kristen P. Goessling, assistant professor of human development and family studies at Penn State Brandywine, has received the 2018 Outreach and Online Education Emerging Faculty Award for Engaged Scholarship.
Penn State students recently returned from a weeklong study-abroad trip to Sicily and Malta that was organized by Penn State Brandywine Global Programs. Global Programs combines academic courses with a short-term travel experience abroad.
