Transfer Students

Your Next Step Starts Here

A Penn State degree opens doors to career advancement and lifelong opportunities. At Penn State Brandywine, transfer students benefit from personalized support, smaller classes, and a degree recognized around the world.

Penn State Brandywine is proud to offer an Articulation Agreement with Delaware County Community College (DCCC), providing DCCC students with a clear and supportive pathway to transfer and complete a Penn State degree. This agreement helps students plan confidently, maximize transfer credit and transition smoothly to Brandywine.

Use the navigation menu on the left and the links at the bottom of this page to explore application information, resources for transfer students, including the dedicated pathway for Delaware County Community College students.

Who Is Considered a Transfer Student?

Students are considered transfer applicants if they have graduated from high school and attempted 18 or more college credits at a regionally accredited institution after earning their diploma. Dual enrollment, test credit, and military credit are excluded.

Transfer Opportunities at Penn State Brandywine

Eligible transfer students can pursue one of Penn State Brandywine’s 14 bachelor’s degree programs or begin a Penn State major before relocating to another Penn State campus to complete their degree.
