Penn State University Police and Public Safety has appointed veteran law enforcement officer Falesha Ghee as sergeant and station commander for Penn State Brandywine.
The Penn State Office for General Education has announced the selection of seven Penn State faculty who will serve as new advisers and program leaders and will help to build high-impact teaching and learning practices in general education across the institution. The seven new members will serve three-year terms as part of a team of 16 general education faculty scholars.
A trio of former Penn State Brandywine student-athletes were selected to the Penn State University Athletic Conference All-Decade Baseball Team as Gabe Encarnacion, Matt Masi and Tom Osenbach all earned honors.
Former Penn State Brandywine softball student-athletes Rachel Cherubini, Katie DeStefano, Arianna Segich and Katy Steffen were all selected to the Penn State University Athletic Conference Softball All-Decade Team.
A total of seven former Penn State Brandywine men's soccer players received recognition on the Penn State University Athletic Conference All-Decade Team. Earning accolades were Mohamed Camara, James Cellucci, Brandon Crochunis, Brad Jule, Bill Walleekendeh, Brandon Welden and Daniel Willie
Penn State students, faculty and staff who are not vaccinated for COVID-19 and those who have not shared with the University that they are fully vaccinated will be required to test weekly for COVID-19 throughout the fall semester, or until they share with the University that they have been fully vaccinated.
Six of the 15 members of the Penn State University Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer All-Decade Team are former Penn State Brandywine student-athletes, the conference announced.
First-generation scholars can now receive extra support thanks to The Miller Family Scholarship at Penn State Brandywine. Penn State alumnus Joseph Miller and his wife, Patricia “Patti” Miller, have made a $50,000 gift to endow the scholarship, which will be awarded to full-time Penn State Brandywine students who are the first in their families to attend an institute of higher education.
In a move designed to limit the spread of COVID-19 on Penn State campuses, the union representing about 2,600 technical service employees, has agreed to follow University requirements for mask-wearing, regardless of vaccination status. The agreement goes into effect immediately.
