For nine Penn State Brandywine students studying civic engagement, New York City became their classroom for a day as they attended the United Nations International Day of Peace Student Observance on September 20.
Penn State Brandywine students, faculty and staff ran a sustainability station at Tyler Arboretum’s annual Pumpkin Days event. The station taught local families the importance of recycling through fun activities, such as crafting flowers from reusable products.
