Andrew Dombalagian is a graduate of Penn State Brandywine with eight years of tutoring experience and a B.A. in English. He is also an aspiring fiction writer, and his short stories have been published in several magazines and anthologies. When he needs to take a break from writing, he likes reading novels, short stories, and comics, as well as playing video games on the couch with his wife and their two cats, Circe and Boots Jr.

Natalie Galanaugh (peer tutor) is a psychology major at Penn State Brandywine. She plans to attend graduate school and become a guidance counselor after finishing her bachelor's degree. She is also interested in physical health and writing. Natalie enjoys writing based on research and analysis of other writing pieces. She likes reading genres such as fiction, science fiction and coming of age stories.

Judy Goodrobb has been managing editor of a foreign policy journal for 18 years. Prior to that, she worked in public relations for several universities and non-profits.  She also was a writing tutor at Philadelphia Community College and at Johnson State College in Vermont. She holds a B.A. in English literature from Temple University and an M.A. in writing from Vermont College. Her favorite thing about reading and writing is being immersed in worlds other than her own. She is currently at work revising a novel set in Jamaica. In her free time, she likes to play in the dirt raising vegetables and flowers in her garden.

Maryrose Iuorno-Shirley has worked with English and ESL students for more than ten years. She likes the challenge of clarifying and organizing ideas through writing. Maryrose earned an M.A. in English (Writing/Teaching/Criticism) from West Chester University and a B.A. in English from the State University of New York College at Potsdam. She also teaches at Delaware County Community College's Downingtown campus. When time allows, she enjoys meeting friends for lunch, doing crossword puzzles, and reading, especially novels because of the truths they tell.

Catherine Mesure (peer tutor) is a senior at Penn State Brandywine, majoring in Corporate Communications and minoring in English. She has a passion for reading, fitness, and comic books, and she plans to make a career for herself in the comics industry. When she’s not tutoring or writing, she’s working at the Media Upper Providence Free Library as a Circulation Clerk.

John Rendeiro is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Comparative Literature at SUNY Buffalo, where his research has focused on nineteenth-century American literature and the history of political theory. He previously earned an M.A. in Comparative Literature at Indiana University, Bloomington and a B.A. in Philosophy at Trinity College, Hartford. He has taught undergraduate composition and literature courses for several years and, in addition to working at Brandywine’s Writing Studio, currently teaches English and tutors writing at Neumann University. He strives to help students develop their own successful writing processes and contextualize writing in their academic, professional, and personal lives.

Don Wuenschel has a B.S. in Secondary Education (English) from East Stroudsburg University and a Master's in Journalism from Temple University. He taught for several years and then worked for more than 25 years as an editor on the news desk and the features desk at The News Journal in Wilmington, Del.
