Penn State Brandywine student Niles Williams received national recognition from the Council on Undergraduate Research Geoscience Division for Excellence in Student Research.
Penn State Brandywine recently hosted the spring meeting of the Mathematical Association of America’s Eastern Pennsylvania/Delaware section. The April 15 conference included about 125 college and university faculty members, graduate students and undergraduates in mathematics and related fields.
On April 11, Penn State Brandywine’s Vairo Library hosted an opening for a collaborative exhibit titled “On our own terms: The (in)visibilities of queer x chinese x woman.” The exhibit showcases images and quotes from interviews with individuals living in the United States who identify as LGBTQIA+, Chinese and woman (transgender and non-binary inclusive).

De-stress Fest takes place at five branch libraries across the University Park campus and at 12 Penn State campuses across the commonwealth, offering free snacks, games, activities, art therapy and other stress-management options, which vary with location.

Senior Farrell Everett hit a walk-off double that drove in three runs and earned Brandywine a 5-4 come-from-behind victory over Penn State New Kensington on Saturday, April 15. In the second game of the double-header, senior Destiny Brophy delivered a game-ending two-run home run to cement Brandywine’s 8-0 win. Brophy, Everett, and seniors Lianna DeDios and Payton Landis were honored before the start of game one as part of Senior Day.
