Biography
Vincent Perez is a strategic advisor, educator, and entrepreneurship ecosystem builder with over 25 years of experience spanning investment banking, emerging technologies, corporate development, venture growth, and higher education.
He serves as faculty in the Department of Business and Economics at Penn State Brandywine, where he teaches courses in corporate finance, entrepreneurship, and international business, with a focus on strategy and social impact. His work emphasizes connecting academic learning with real-world application through experiential education, venture advising, and cross-sector collaboration.
In addition to his teaching role, Vincent serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence and Startup Leadership Network member with Invent Penn State, where he contributes as a venture and commercialization advisor. He is also a member of the Teaching and Learning Technologies Faculty Advisory Committee and participates in Penn State’s AI Community of Practice. He supports systemwide initiatives including the Centre for Socially Responsible AI and the Nittany AI Alliance, all based at University Park. He also serves as Co-Chair of the Chancellor’s Commission on Veteran and Military Success, supporting institutional efforts focused on access, leadership, and student success.
Beyond campus, Vincent is the Founder and CEO of Long View Partners, a strategic advisory firm that works with startups, universities, and public-private initiatives to strengthen entrepreneurship ecosystems, economic and workforce development, and innovation-driven growth. His career bridges private industry, academia, government, and nonprofit sectors, with experience across fintech, energy, agtech, medtech, edtech, AI, robotics, and other emerging technologies.
Vincent has received a Global Programming EDGE Award for connecting business students with European peers to pitch solutions to industry leaders, as well as an Excellence in Teaching Award for providing experiential learning opportunities that prepare students for real-world success.
Born in Latin America, raised in New York City, and having lived and worked in Washington DC and Europe, Vincent brings a global perspective and cultural fluency to his work. A first-generation college graduate and the son of a veteran and small business owner, he is deeply committed to expanding access to opportunity and preparing students and communities to thrive in an innovation-driven economy.
