Biography
Rafael is an accomplished Human Resources executive with over 20 years of distinguished experience leading HR strategies for globally recognized companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Diageo – Captain Morgan, and CertainTeed, Saint-Gobain. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Labor & Industrial Relations with a minor in Spanish from Penn State University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law, where he was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
Rafael's career is marked by his expertise in ethical leadership, strategic visioning, talent management, employee and labor relations, business growth, and organizational development. His strategic initiatives have consistently driven success and growth within the organizations he has led. Rafael's deep connection to Penn State is reflected in his family legacy, with six family members having attended the university, where he also met his wife. He co-founded the first Hispanic fraternity at Penn State, Phi Delta Psi Eta, and is a member of the Skull & Bones Senior Honor Society.
