Management Minor

Why Add a Management Minor?

A Minor in Management gives students from any major the skills to lead people, solve organizational challenges, and make an impact in their chosen careers. You will develop valuable abilities in leadership, communication, strategic thinking, human resources, ethical decision-making, and organizational management. These skills are valuable in virtually every industry, from businesses and nonprofits to government agencies and entrepreneurial ventures.

Whether you are studying healthcare, science, technology, finance, or another discipline, understanding how to manage people and processes can give you a competitive advantage. The Management minor introduces you to the principles and practical tools used by effective leaders to coordinate teams, improve operations, make informed decisions, and help organizations achieve their goals.

If you see yourself running your own medical practice, veterinary clinic, landscaping company, financial advising firm, or other professional business, this minor can help prepare you for success. It can also open opportunities in areas such as human resources, operations, administration, team leadership, and entrepreneurship. Whatever your career path, a Minor in Management can help you turn your professional expertise into leadership opportunities
