Why Add a PSCM Minor?
The Project and Supply Chain Management Minor helps business students build in-demand skills in project management, as well as supply chain logistics and operations management. The minor complements students’ primary majors by developing their ability to plan and manage projects, improve processes and effectively coordinate the flow of products and services, information and resources. These versatile skills prepare students for career opportunities across industries including technology, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, automotive, retail, consumer products, food and beverage, transportation and logistics, energy, construction, financial services, consulting, government and nonprofit organizations and more.
In today’s business environment, organizations rely on projects to launch new products, develop innovative services, expand operations, implement new technologies, and achieve strategic goals. At the same time, increasingly global and interconnected markets have created a growing demand for professionals who can effectively manage complex supply chains.
Business students can pursue the Project and Supply Chain Management Minor to expand their career options and develop practical skills valued by employers.
