Currently, seven campus police stations are equipped with naloxone, including Beaver, Berks, Brandywine, DuBois, Erie, Great Valley and University Park. Administrators continue to work with local and county agencies to equip officers with naloxone at the remaining campuses.
On September 15, 50 Brandywine students attended All-University Day—a Nittany Lions football home game that unifies Penn State students from across Pennsylvania. Students Maddie Beebe and Alan Norrigan represented Brandywine by carrying the campus' banner on the field during halftime at Beaver Stadium.
Last week's #Brandywinner was senior Maddie Beebe! A communications major, Maddie is a member of the Marketing and Communications Club and is co-chair of the Brandywine Events and Activities Support Team. She was also named 2018 Woman of the Year and previously served as secretary and president of the Lion Ambassadors.
Penn State Brandywine Chancellor Kristin Woolever has announced that she will retire from the University on July 31, 2019, after leading the campus since Feb. 1, 2014. A national search will begin immediately to identify her successor.
Within the first two years of the five-year "A Greater Penn State for 21st Century Excellence" campaign, Penn State Brandywine raised nearly $2.9 million toward the campus’ $3.9 million goal — which accounts for 74 percent of its target.
