First Year: Increase Self Awareness

- Be studious and strategic. Grades matter for entrance to majors and certain careers/employers. GPA accumulates from the start.
Sophomore Year: Explore Careers
- Schedule to meet with your academic adviser (October and March). See “Adviser Information” in eLion.
- If changing campus for junior year, attend Change of Campus Essentials workshop in October.
- Be prepared to declare your major by the end of fall semester. If still undecided about a major, make an appointment with a career coach.
- In January, select “Entrance to Major” in eLion (deadline is mid-February!).
