Academic Integrity Resources

The University has moved to an online academic integrity reporting system, through which faculty report and students respond to claims. Although the system is designed for all users, students or instructors may need accommodations that require a paper form. If needed, please contact the University College academic integrity administrator for a PDF of the academic integrity form to print out.

In fall 2026, the University College transitioned to a college-wide process for evaluating academic integrity claims. Faculty and students will continue to use the University’s online site noted above, but committees for students in the University College, which includes the Brandywine campus, will be composed of faculty members and students from across the 14 University College campuses.

The Academic Integrity Responsibilities Office website links students and faculty to information related to Penn State’s policies and procedures on academic integrity. This site also contains useful links to resources about the interaction between artificial intelligence and academic integrity.

Brandywine Academic Integrity Liaisons for Faculty and Students

Since campuses will no longer have local academic integrity committees, each campus has identified faculty and student liaisons to advise the campus community on this process. An academic integrity liaison is a faculty or staff member designated for consultation and questions about academic integrity processes at Penn State. There is one faculty liaison who can help faculty with questions about academic integrity claims and processes, and there are three student liaisons designated for students who have questions about the process. In 2026-27, Penn State Brandywine Academic Integrity Liaisons are as follows:

Faculty Liaison:

Student Liaisons:

  • Deb Ousey, Associate Teaching Professor of English ([email protected], 131K John D. Vairo Building)

  • Mike Yatauro, Associate Professor of Mathematics ([email protected], 212A Main Building)

Liaisons are not advocates for students or faculty members; they do not attend committee meetings or intervene in the process. Although these faculty and staff are Penn State Brandywine’s official liaisons, many faculty and staff are well-versed in Penn State’s academic integrity culture and can advise students and colleagues.
