Open to the public: Livestream of Katharine Hayhoe presentation at Brandywine

MEDIA, Pa. — Students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to attend a livestream of Katharine Hayhoe’s keynote presentation at the 2018 Colloquium on the Environment on Thursday, Nov. 15, at University Park. The livestream will begin at 4:30 p.m. in Room 103 of the Tomezsko Building at Penn State Brandywine.

Hayhoe is a professor in the public administration program at Texas Tech University. She also is an atmospheric scientist studying climate change and its impacts on human systems and the natural environment

“Dr. Hayhoe has much to teach us, and we have much to learn,” said Brandywine Professor of Earth Sciences Laura Guertin. “I thank Dr. Hayhoe for being a leader in climate change communication and bringing her message to Penn State and our community — she is a voice we need now and in the future."

Attendees are encouraged to participate in a group discussion after the presentation.
