Brandywine LaunchBox hosts inaugural LionCage Pitch Competition at Great Valley

The LionCage Pitch Competition brought together visionaries and business leaders dedicated to building and nurturing the entrepreneurial ecosystem in southeastern Pennsylvania.

MEDIA, Pa. — The Brandywine LaunchBox partnered with the Great Valley LaunchBox and Chester County Economic Development Council’s Ideas x Innovation Network to deliver the LionCage Pitch Competition on Friday, Nov. 8, which supported entrepreneurs and innovators across southeastern Pennsylvania. Thirty teams — including two Penn State Brandywine students — pitched in five categories: New Startups, Penn State Students and Alumni, Social Impact Initiatives, Experienced Startups, and Young Entrepreneurs. Each category had one winner, who received $5,000, and one honorable mention, who received a plaque. In addition, one team received $10,000 for being “Best of Show.”
