FORMER PRESIDENT CLINTON VISITS THE CAMPUS

Former president Bill Clinton visited the Penn State Brandywine campus on Friday, March 7, 2008 to rally support for his wife and presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton. Before an enthusiastic crowd of 1,500 students, faculty, staff and community members, the former president discussed Senator Clinton's ideas on energy independence, improving our schools, health care, the budget and the war in Iraq, to name a few. He was preceded by a warm introduction by Congressman Joe Sestak, who served in the White House during Clinton's presidency, and made time to shake hands and give autographs on his way out.
