Matthew Shupp awarded the Ron Lunardini Outstanding Mentor Award

Penn State Brandywine Director of Student Affairs Matthew Shupp was recently awarded the Ron Lunardini Outstanding Mentor Award at the Pennsylvania College Personnel Association (PCPA) Conference in Carlisle.

Ron Lunardini was a faculty member and faculty liaison to PCPA in Indiana University of Pennsylvania's Student Affairs and Higher Education program until his retirement several years ago. PCPA gave him the honor of emeritus status and named one of five annual awards after him. This award is presented to a PCPA member who has worked to mentor professionals and/or graduate students with professional endeavors while contributing to the field and profession as a whole.

Shupp, who joined Penn State Brandywine in 2008, also presented two programs at the conference: "Making Your Professional Development Count!" and "Advisors as First Responders to Student Crises."
