Nina Clements has been named the new reference and instruction librarian at Penn State Brandywine. She began her new position at the end of August and is already finding her place within the campus community.
She received an undergraduate degree in English and history from Denison University, a master's degree in creative writing from Sarah Lawrence College and a master's degree in library and information science from the University of Pittsburgh. Before coming to Brandywine, Clements worked for the nonprofit organization Prep for Prep in New York City, N.Y., served as a freelance writer and editor in Nashville, Tenn. and worked as the humanities librarian at Kenyon College in Ohio for five years.
The Media resident is enjoying her new role on the Brandywine campus and is excited to meet the students and her coworkers. "I've been really impressed with how friendly and welcoming everyone is," she said.
Clements can be reached by phone at 610-892-1382 or by email at [email protected].
