Meg Wieger finished high school early to pursue her dream of becoming a country music singer. Now, she’s pursuing another dream: earning a college degree and beginning a career in the renewable energy industry. Recently, she visited Ireland to fulfill the study abroad component to her energy and sustainability policy major at Penn State’s World Campus.
Kelli Volkomer, who will graduate in December with degree in ESP, stops to see the Stein Glacier in the Canton of Bern, Switzerland, during a study abroad trip in 2015. “It was an experience I won’t forget. Snowball fights and climbing around on the rocks in June. Incredible,” said the World Campus student and mother of two.
Each bedroom in Orchard Hall will have a small refrigerator and freezer, microwave, wardrobes, desks, chairs and adjustable beds with storage space underneath.
