Fair Trade Month

October is Fair Trade Month and Penn State Brandywine's Zoia Pavlovskaia, lecturer in business, was honored for her volunteer work with the Media Fair Trade Committee. Zoia received her award at a recent Media Borough Council meeting from none other than a Fair Trade banana. Congratulations, Zoia!

Brandywine Spirit Week

Last week students participated in some fun activities as part of Penn State Brandywine's Spirit Week. Students made tie-dye t-shirts, played lawn games and enjoyed snacks outside of the Student Union.

Sundance Award-winning filmmakers Cristina Ibarra and Alex Rivera will participate in a discussion after an online screening of their film "The Infiltrators" at 6:30 p.m. this Friday, October 9, open to all campuses and their communities. The event is co-presented by the Latina/o Studies Program and Penn State’s Sustainability Institute as part of the "Intersections: How We Respond" film series and Penn State’s Hispanic Heritage Month.
