James Berkey, associate professor of English at Penn State Brandywine, was appointed associate director of academic affairs at the campus, effective Jan. 3.
Students, faculty and staff attended a town hall on Thursday, Jan. 19 to learn more about the Restorative Justice, Equity, Anti-Racism League (REAL), a group at Brandywine working together to create an anti-hate, anti-racism council on campus. Members of the REAL were asked to raise their hands so others in the room could see who was in the group.
On Tuesday, Jan. 17, the Center for Social Impact and Student Engagement held a screening for the film "Till." Students, faculty and staff at Brandywine gathered in the Student Union to watch the film.
Georgina Waller, former administrative support assistant for Penn State Brandywine’s Advising and Career Services office, was recently promoted to academic adviser.
Penn State students have the opportunity to travel to Seoul, South Korea, for Maymester in a new course called “Sociology and Culture in Seoul, Korea,” a three-credit, study abroad program in partnership with the University’s sociology department and Konkuk University in Seoul.
