FBI Academy Annual Bus Trip

Each spring, Advising & Career Services hosts an immersive trip to the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia, giving students a rare behind‑the‑scenes look at federal law enforcement. Participants spend the day touring training facilities, learning about FBI career pathways, and engaging directly with professionals in the field. The trip includes round‑trip transportation and offers valuable insights for students interested in Accounting, Psychology, STEM, Cybersecurity, and various other degrees. Space is limited, and registration opens early each spring semester.

Bus Trip Schedule:

  • Date: April 23rd, 2026

  • Bus Departure Time: 4:30 a.m. (bus boarding will start at 4:15 a.m.) Please see campus map below for bus pickup (red line) location.

  • Academy Tour Duration: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

  • Bus Return to Brandywine: 6:00 p.m.

The trip includes round‑trip transportation from campus to the FBI Academy at Quantico, located on Marine Corps Base Quantico (MCBQ). The bus ride to Quantico will be approximately three to four hours long depending on traffic, and multiple security checkpoints on the MCBQ base, so please feel free to bring travel items (neck pillow, small blanket, etc.) as needed. You will be able to leave items on the bus, which will be secured by the driver and protected by FBI police.

Point of Contact

Dennis Dozier will serve as the point of contact (POC) during the trip, so if inquired by any FBI personnel during the tour, please direct them to Mr. Dozier as needed. We suggest all students attending the trip to save Mr. Dozier's contact information.

  • Office: 610.892.1390

  • Email: [email protected]

Faculty and staff that are attending will be provided with his direct mobile number if needed.

Identification Requirements

Because the FBI Academy Quantico is a U.S. federal government facility, and located on a large, secured military Marine Corps Base Quantico (MCBQ), all visitors will need to have valid identification (info below) upon arrival, no exceptions.

Photo Identification

All participants must have government issued, Real ID photo identification to access MCBQ and FBI Quantico. Photocopies are not acceptable. If you do not have a Real ID, two forms of ID are required (e.g., license AND passport). Students that don’t have the required photo identification will NOT be able to board the bus and attend the trip. Please check and ensure that your identification is NOT expired at the time of the trip.

What to Expect

The FBI Academy Tours is an indoor/outdoor 3-mile walking experience that includes:

  • Hogan’s Alley

  • Physical Fitness Training areas

  • Firearms Ranges

  • New Agent Training

  • FBI National Academy Overview

The FBI Academy Tour does not include the FBI Laboratory Division or Operational Technology Division currently. Please be mindful that there may be multiple FBI personnel training the day of the trip and performing live-fire gun drills on the outdoor ranges. If there is anyone that thinks they may be triggered (no pun intended) by this, please feel free to let Mr. Dozier know in advance, so we can accommodate.
