In the first Cross Country meet of the 2011 season at Penn State Wilkes Barre, the women of Brandywine were led by senior Steph Tracy who finished 5th overall. Freshman, Meghan Mooney finished close behind in 8th and Teresa Gillespie 12th. Sophomores Kayla Csizmazia and Marina Asslanian finished 17 and 18 respectively, a very commendable finish being their first collegiate cross country meet. The women finished in third place behind 2010 conference champions Penn State Worthington Scranton and Penn State Fayette.
The men opened up at PSU Wilkes Barre led by freshman Nate Castaneda who finished in 7th place and sophomore Anthony Petrella in 10th. Mike Fischer, Jimmy Payne, and Ben Geveke all helped in team scoring by finishing 26, 27, 29. Mark Choi, Steve Hargis, Andre Smith, Jaspreet Singh and Noah Geveke all gave support to a fourth place team finish in the largest PSUAC cross country meet ever.
