EARTH DAY CELEBRATION

Earth Day
4/16/2009 —

Ever seen a car run on vegetable oil? The Penn State Brandywine Environment club had that and more in celebration of Earth Day, Wednesday, April 22.

The campus grounds were buzzing with talk of environmental issues and the sharing of ideas and solutions for local and global environmental issues.

Attendees took an ecological footprint quiz measuring each person’s impact on the earth, saw a car that runs on vegetable oil, practiced drumming in a circle, and enjoyed homemade food near the gazebo in the center of campus.
