BIOMIMICRY - USING NATURE'S DESIGNS
Please join us next Tuesday, Nov. 11, 11:30 a.m. in the Vairo Library lower level lounge, for the next Faculty Forum presentation. David Macauley, Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Environmental Studies, will speak on “Biomimicry.”
Biomimicry is the idea and practice of developing technology—from Velcro to molecular computers—that imitates natural processes with the goal of addressing or solving environmental and social problems.
The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
