“On Sept. 17, 1787, the U.S. Constitution was signed by thirty-nine brave men who changed the course of history. Constitution Day is a time for us to continue their legacy and develop habits of citizenship in a new generation of Americans,” reads the National Constitution Center Web site (http://constitutioncenter.org/). The Brandywine campus plans to do just that.

In honor of National Constitution Day/Citizenship Day, Penn State Brandywine’s newest honors scholars will host an open mic event in the Vairo Amphitheater on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 12:30 p.m. The campus community will discuss the birthday of the United States Government as the microphone gets passed around. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
