Jon Manteau received his Masters of Fine Art, in 1996, from the University of Delaware. He studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts where he received a four-year certificate (1987). He also studied at Parsons School of Design/New School for Social Research, in New York City, New York.
He has taught at the University of Delaware, Temple/Tyler University and has recently become a full-time faculty member at Penn State University/Brandywine. He has been a college instructor/professor for 16 years. He’s exhibited nationally and his works are in collections, throughout the United States and Canada. He has been a working artist for over 30 years. Jon lives and works in Philadelphia.
He is an avid surfer and has won eight championships as a player/ manager in various Philadelphia Men’s softball leagues. He is married to Brittney Singletary, has no children but does have a 100lbs, Labrador retriever, named “Link”. Jon lives and works in Philadelphia.
