Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: When does it start?
A: Every Fall in late August/early September.
Q: How long are the classes?
A: Two classes per Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to noon, and 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. during a seven week cycle. Two terms per semester are offered, so students are considered full time. Students have time off throughout the year for holidays and vacations.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Current cost is about $7,064 per semester. Many employers have reimbursement programs that help subsidize the cost of the program. Additionally, scholarships, grants and loans are available to students who qualify.
Q: How do I enroll?
A: There is an admissions process that involves an application and review of prior transcripts. Go to our Admissions page (http://admissions.psu.edu/apply/) and follow instructions regarding application.
Q: How long does it take to enroll?
A: Getting prior colleges to forward your transcripts can take two weeks or two months, depending upon the college and when you request, so requesting transcripts as soon as possible is important. Once we have your online application and your transcripts, a decision is made and communicated to you within several weeks. We prefer students to enroll by July 1 to secure a place in the fall class.
